  1. my memories of Dave are from childhood...a brilliant guy, always firing on all circuits, curious, inquisitive, always kind and genuine. A great brother. Rest in peace to someone who is gone too soon.

  3. I just found out about David's dying here on the web (through Facebook, no less). It seems a strange and cold place to even talk about it, but it is perhaps, the best we can do, as I send out fellow feelings of sadness to you, Ruth, your family, and to everyone who knew David. I have heard his inspired and impassioned voice over the internet waves for the last year or so and want to celebrate his attempt to make his beliefs and passions heard and to live his life according to his own ideals. May we all aim to live up to that as well.

  4. Dave (Owl) was one-of-a-kind. Good memories of times with him during High School, even though High School didn't seem so great most of the time. Condolences to his family.

  5. Hi everybody, thanks for your comments -- they are most welcome at this time I really want to say a few words about him you know I had very very little contact with him after he graduated college -- one time he and his dog visited me in Philadelphia while I was in college and I remember him choosing where to go next based on where the dog had peed on the map. I think in later years he had become much more grounded because when I started telling him about my perceived past life experiences he just said "I really don't need this drama".

  6. Hi everybody I would like to comment on what somebody has said about facebook and the internet in general being a very cold place to try to wrap up collective feelings about my brother's life or anyone's life for that matter -- I wish it could be different and less difficult to gather the vibes together but my own level of dysfunction is so high that just doing what i have done so far is about as much as I could manage -- would love to have some kind of service to honor his spirit at some point
